COVID Protocols
With the tournament set to start in a few days, here is a reminder of the COVID protocols in place:

COVID PROTOCOL:

We continue to work closely with KFL&A Public Health to ensure compliance with the local and provincial re-opening framework. We ask you to ensure all participants adhere to these protocols while in our facilities. Failure to comply will result in jeopardizing future ice times.

Please note that these protocols currently in place are subject to change. As you all know, things change quickly, I will do my best to let you know of any changes as soon as I hear.



UPON ENTRY TO ALL KINGSTON ARENA’S:


Screening will be done to everyone entering the facility.
Anyone born in 2009 and earlier need to show proof of vaccination with ID to the City Of Kingston employee when they enter the facility.

Note: For all games held at the Invista Centre – please make sure you enter at the appropriate entrance:

Selkirk and MNP Pads – you must enter through the south doors
CUPE and Desjardin Pads – you must enter through the north doors

All other venues have only once entrance to be used.


Participants (all participants born in 2009 and earlier are required to be fully vaccinated including the 14 day waiting period by Nov. 1st 2021).

• We are currently allowed full capacity
• Masks must be worn at all times, until helmets are on or the patron is on the ice surface.
• Designated shower stalls will be marked and available and for use.
• Patrons are not required to come dressed for play and can arrive a maximum of 30 minutes prior to scheduled ice time. Screening is still required at this time upon entry.
• Participants must exit ice immediately at the end of game buzzer. Delays will not be tolerated due to the impact on cleaning protocols.
• Patrons must vacate dressing room a maximum of 20 Minutes after final buzzer.

Spectators & general information (see note above regarding those 12+ will need to show proof of vaccination and ID at time of entry into the facility)

• Food and beverages will be permitted and can be consumed in seated spectating areas, with physical distancing being maintained. Masks should only be removed for eating or drinking. Water fill stations are available, and users are permitted to bring refillable water bottles for use.
• Patrons must proceed directly to permitted area. No loitering is permitted in the lobby or main concourse areas.
• All activities within the rink must be conducted in accordance with provincial regulations https://www.ontario.ca/page/reopening-ontario
