    • OMHA requires that all MHA decide on and post their policy on players wanting to play representative hockey on an older age group. KAMHA's policy is as such:
      • Any underage player wanting to tryout for the one (1) age group older may do so, but must advise the VP of Rep of thier intention prior to tryout.
      • Playing in an older age group only applies at the AA level
      • Determination is based on independent evaluators and the KAMHA executive
      • In order for an underage player to make a team in the age group up, they must be evaluated in the top 3 skaters in the age group up, regardless of position. For goalies they must be evaluated top of the age group up
      • Due to the high demand of Representative hockey, no team shall be allowed to carry more than one (1) underage skater and one (1) underage goalie
      • Any player that is not successful in making the team as an underager will return to their age group
      • This policy may be amended at the discretion at the KAMHA executive for exceptional circumstances
