Kingston Area Minor Hockey Association is proud to host The Steve Carter Intro to Hockey Program for the Fall of 2024 for those aged 4+.
Steve Carter was a significant contributor to Kingston Area Minor Hockey as Coach of several U10 to U15 teams in our Association. He was known for his passion, competitiveness and the ability to bring out the best in his players.
The Steve Carter Intro to Hockey Program celebrates the great potential of young hockey players starting out and who bring
excitement to the game through dedication, practice and preparation. He would be proud to share his journey with our players today.
The Steve Carter Intro to Hockey Program for those new to hockey
(aged 4+ )
The program will start on Oct. 16th 2024 and end on Dec. 18th 2024 - every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Invista Centre - Selkirk pad.
Program Highlights:
* 10 one hour on ice sessions with Certified Instructors from October to December (please note that The First Shift is 6 one hour sessions, this program is 10 one hour sessions!!)
* Continuation Program may be offered for those interested from Jan to March
* On ice visits from Kingston Frontenac's players
* limited to 45 registrations per session
* Kingston Canadians jerseys and socks provided
* Two pricing options available - one without equipment for those that already have equipment at home and do not need to purchase anything and one with an add on equipment package!
Program Registration Options Available Based on Your Needs:
Base Registration - no equipment - $220.00
Some of you may have equipment already at home, if that is the case, this option is for you! No need to add the optional starter equipment package that is available.

* 10 One hour ice sessions
* Kingston Canadians jersey and socks to keep!
Optional Add on Starter Equipment package - Cost for 2024 season TBD (additional)
(All registrants must register for the base registration fee for The Steve Carter Intro to Hockey Program to be eligible for the starter equipment package)
We understand that some of you are new to hockey and would appreciate receiving a starter package of equipment at The Steve Carter Intro to Hockey Program Welcome Night with help from our experienced program leads!
We are working with Pro Hockey Life to provide us with an amazing beginner package!
Includes:
* Amazing equipment package that includes shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, shin guards, hockey pants and a hockey bag to take it home in!
* You will also be provided with a discount card to be used at Pro Hockey Life to purchase a stick, skates, helmet, neck guard and jock/jill of your choice with the help of their friendly and experienced staff in store at your convenience!
