Playoff action is in full swing!

Congratulations to our U9MD (Nic Bohdanec) team who made it to the final of the Oakville Full Ice Face off tournament winning the semi-Final 3-1 over the Vaughan Rangers White team. Even though they fell to the Vaughan Rangers Red team 5-3 in the final, it was a great long weekend of great hockey for the group. The team is looking forward to hosting the Lakeshore Championship March 6th-8th at the Invista Centre.

Nice to see all of our teams doing well in the first round of the playoffs, notables: U10AA (Jason Greavett) won two games this weekend including a big win against number 2 ranked Oshawa. Our U16A (Kevin Hulton) team is off to a 2-0 start with two straight wins vs North Durham and Belleville. And our U14AA (Brett Gibson) Canadians are not disappointing their fans as they’re 4-0 in their first four games.

Coaching move of the week: With less than 30 seconds left in the U18 Select game on Saturday night, tied 6-6, Coach Jeff Ovens sensed that he had a chance and pulled his goalie. The team rewarded him with a goal late in the period giving the team a 7-6 win over Quinte West. Bold move!
