Lots of action this past weekend!

Lots of tournament hockey this past weekend with many wins for Kingston teams with some fantastic results!

Our U13AA (Brad Smith) team was in the final of the Ottawa Winter Classic, falling short 7-5 against their Lakeshore Rival Whitby Wildcats. The team was close to winning their second tournament of the season. Great effort team!

In Quebec City, our U12A (Michael Fisher) had a must-win game against the top-ranked Minuteman Flames from Boston to get to the Final. They won it on a game-winning penalty shot by Holden Giffin, only to advance to the Final against the same Flames where they came up short 3-1. The team had a fantastic weekend taking home the Silver medal.

Our U14AA (Brett Gibson) Canadians were in the International Silver Stick in Newmarket. The team ended their run with a 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Blazers, taking 4 of 8 possible points in the Round Robin. A sound showing for the Kingston Canadians in one of the most prestigious minor hockey league tournaments around.

Shout out to the U16A (Kevin Hulton) team who had a big 6 point weekend with wins over Quinte West, Clarington and Northumberland. The team scored 12 goals and only allowed 4.
