Please see the information below if you are interested in applying to coach a Kingston Canadians Rep team.

Kingston Canadians Representative Coaching Applications Now Open for 2026/2027 Season

 

Kingston & Area Minor Hockey Association (KAMHA) is now accepting applications for Kingston Canadians Representative (REP) Team Coaches for the 2026/2027 hockey season.

We invite qualified and passionate coaches to apply for the following divisions:

Available Coaching Positions

 

U8MD and U9MD

 

U10 / U11 – AA and A

 

 

U12 / U13 – AA and A

 

 

U14 / U15 – AA and A
U16 / U18 – AA, A, and BB

 

 

Application Deadline

All coaching applications must be submitted by January 20, 2026.
KAMHA reserves the right to extend the deadline if necessary.

Please note: While we sincerely appreciate all applications received, not all applicants will be selected for an interview.

Interview & Selection Process

  • Interviews will be conducted in early February

  • Due to the high volume of applications, some interviews may take place prior to February 1

  • Coaching announcements will be made toward the end of March

  • If there are no applicants, or no suitable applicants, for a specific division, the KAMHA Executive reserves the right to seek out qualified candidates

We strongly encourage non-parent coaches to apply for both head coach and assistant coach positions.

Coaching Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants are encouraged to review the required coaching qualifications prior to applying.

All accepted team officials — including coaches, assistant coaches, managers, and trainers — must provide a current CPIC for the applicable season.
Failure to submit a valid CPIC will result in removal from the bench.
