Approved Return To Hockey
Submitted By Enrico Caruso on Thursday, August 27, 2020
On August 26th, 2020, KAMHA's Return To Hockey plan was approved by our OMHA Regional Director allowing us to proceed with final planning and registration for the upcoming season.

Our approved facility and safety guidelines, stage 3B return to play overview, and game play rules and structure are available through the 2020/2021 Return to Hockey section of the KAMHA website.  These documents will be updated as we get more information on the upcoming season so check these documents often.

It is very important that we all understand that this season will not be like any other and hopefully there won’t be too many bumps in the road. Everyone, including but not limited to parents, volunteers and players will play a critical role in the safe return to on-ice activities.  Before the start of the season please set both your and your child(ren)s expectations that this season will be different, focused on fun, skill development and local modified games within a safe and controlled environment.  Observing the rules at all times will be essential if we hope to avoid future facilities shut downs and enjoy a full season of hockey.

This year more than ever we will require additional volunteers to fill various roles to ensure a successful and safe return to hockey this season.

If interested in acting as divisional convenor, Trainer, or any other bench staff position, please contact our VP of House

More information on start dates, cost of hockey, number of practices and games and how to register will be coming soon!

We have created some short videos that will cover return to hockey details, these will begin to be released over the upcoming week on the Kingston Area Minor Hockey Association Facebook page.
