Kingston Area Minor Hockey Association is proud to host The Steve Carter Intro to Hockey Program for the Fall of 2025 for those aged 4+.
Steve Carter was a significant contributor to Kingston Area Minor Hockey as Coach of several U10 to U15 teams in our Association. He was known for his passion, competitiveness and the ability to bring out the best in his players.
The Steve Carter Intro to Hockey Program celebrates the great potential of young hockey players starting out and who bring
excitement to the game through dedication, practice and preparation. He would be proud to share his journey with our players today.
The Steve Carter Intro to Hockey Program for those new to hockey
(aged 4+ )
The program will tentatively start on Oct. 15th 2025 and end on Dec. 17th 2025 - every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Invista Centre - Selkirk pad. NOTE: Exact start date and time to be confirmed.
Program Highlights:
* 10 one hour on ice sessions with Certified Instructors from October to December (please note that The First Shift is 6 one hour sessions, this program is 10 one hour sessions!!)
* Continuation Program may be offered for those interested from Jan to March
* On ice visits from Kingston Frontenac's players
* limited to 50 registrations per session
* Kingston Canadians jerseys and socks provided
Base Registration - no equipment - $250.00
Includes:
* 10 One hour ice sessions
* Kingston Canadians jersey and socks to keep!
EQUIPMENT
All registrants of The Steve Carter Intro to Hockey Program to be eligible for equipment discounts.

Equipment Requirements:
* Full equipment (helmet, neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, jock/jill short, gloves, stick, pants, shin pads, skates)
* hockey bag to carry it in!
